TSP Safety is a health and safety consultancy dedicated to the hospitality and leisure sector, with a particular focus on holiday parks, alongside hotels, restaurants, bars, spas, wedding venues and leisure clubs. We give these businesses the specialist support they need to meet their legal responsibilities, reduce risk and protect their people and their guests.
Hospitality and leisure is our focus, and swimming pool and leisure safety is a particular specialism. We also work across other sectors, including fire risk assessment work for retail units and offices.
The consultancy grew out of hands-on sector experience. It was established by Terry Midgley and developed alongside his senior in-house health and safety career, and has since become a dedicated service for holiday park and hospitality operators, a part of the market that has long relied on trusted, specialist safety advisers.
Behind that is over 15 years' health and safety experience, the majority of it within hospitality and leisure, including ten years at Head of Health & Safety and Director level, reporting directly to CEOs and boards. Earlier operational roles across holiday parks, construction and health clubs mean our advice is grounded in how a site runs day to day, not just what the regulations say.
We design and implement full health and safety management systems aligned with the HSG65 ‘Plan, Do, Check, Act’ model and ISO 45001. Where a project needs extra capacity or specialist input, TSP Safety draws on a growing network of qualified associate consultants, so we can support a single fire risk assessment or an entire group to the same high standard.
