Practical support managing water hygiene controls across your site, working from the Legionella risk assessment and written scheme provided by a suitably competent specialist.
Best suited to hospitality businesses that already have, or are arranging, a Legionella risk assessment and need practical help implementing the resulting controls across hot and cold water systems, showers or spa pools.
Hospitality water systems, including hot and cold water, showers and spa pools, can present a Legionella risk if they are not managed properly. A suitably competent specialist should assess that risk and define the technical control measures needed. TSP Safety does not carry out Legionella risk assessments. We help you put an existing assessment and written scheme into practice: allocating responsibilities, establishing workable checks and records, tracking actions and coordinating specialist contractors when technical input is needed.

No. Legionella risk assessments must be completed by someone with the appropriate competence for the water systems involved. We can help you arrange specialist input and then support your managers in implementing the assessment and written scheme.
If you are responsible for water systems that could present a risk, you must ensure the risk is suitably assessed and controlled. We support the management of those controls but do not replace the competent specialist carrying out the assessment.
We can help identify operational updates and coordinate the review, but technical changes to the written scheme should be approved by a suitably competent water hygiene specialist.
We can support the day-to-day management arrangements and action tracking. Specialist risk assessment, water treatment and microbiological advice must come from an appropriately competent provider.
Book a call and we'll review your current management arrangements and identify where specialist input is needed.
